Services

Identity governance that survives the access review.

Make access ownership visible, approvals meaningful, and privileged elevation temporary by design — access reviews, joiner–mover–leaver processes, privileged role governance, and the evidence trail behind each decision.

Identity Governance & Privileged Access

Make access ownership visible, approvals meaningful, and privileged elevation temporary by design.

The situationAccess accumulates as people change roles. Reviews become a signature exercise, administrator rights remain standing, and audit evidence is difficult to assemble.

What CogniAccess does

CogniAccess designs joiner–mover–leaver processes, access review campaigns, application ownership, approval paths, and remediation for stale or excessive access. Privileged Identity Management patterns are applied to eligible roles, activation approvals, time-bound assignments, alerts, and review of permanent role holders.

Governance work also covers non-human identities — service accounts, application and workload identities — each with a named owner, credential hygiene, and least-privilege review, alongside emergency access, federation trust, and the evidence trail: who requested access, who approved it, when it was reviewed, and when it was removed.

Typical deliverables

  • Access-review campaign design
  • Joiner–mover–leaver process map
  • Privileged role and PIM configuration plan
  • Stale access remediation list
  • Non-human & service account inventory
  • Approval and ownership matrix
  • Audit evidence package

Named offer

Non-Human Identity (NHI) Inventory & Governance

Service accounts, application identities, and workload identities rarely appear in access reviews — yet they hold standing credentials and broad permissions. This named offer inventories them, assigns each a named owner, and puts their credentials and privileges under the same governance discipline as workforce access.

  • Inventory of service accounts and application and workload identities across Entra ID, Active Directory, and Okta
  • A named owner recorded for every non-human identity
  • Credential hygiene review — rotation, storage, and standing credential exposure
  • Least-privilege review of permissions and federation trust
  • A review cadence and evidence trail that hold up in audit

Federal delivery

Delivered inside federal programs

This service is delivered inside federal programs — directly and as a subcontractor to prime contractors — framed against the FICAM architecture and documented to the standard an assessor will test. See the Government page for the federal ICAM framing, and Capabilities for company data and the teaming process.

Start with the access problem in front of you.

Bring the finding, mandate, migration, or stalled rollout. CogniAccess will help turn it into a defined scope with a practical order of work.
